It is not what happens to "us", but how deal with a cris that is important!

Dodging The Bullet...

I wonder what happened to all those people that truly believed that the world would end in December 21, 2012. Did they go into hiding waiting for the next prophecy to come along? What about the instigators of the 2012 hoax and all the other dooms day hoaxes that have come and gone? Are the people that started such hoopla ever held accountable for feeding fuel to the bonfire of hestera that was falsely created?

After all, creating such a hoax is like crying wolf when there is no wolf. After a while the people who waited for the wolf to show up, will end up ignoring anyone who tries to warn of impending disaster. Maybe to their own demize. For I believe it is just a matter of time before this present world will end.

So if "enough is enough", what do we do to asure that these sort of shootings do not continue?

2012; A Year of Breaking Records!

When it comes to record breaking years....all kinds of records, 2012 must hold the record! We had a record breaking drought, storms, fires, tornadoes and money spent on elections. Also, 2012 was the hottest year on recorded. The average temperature was 55.3 degrees Fahrenheit across the lower 48 was more than 3.2 degrees warmer than the average for the 20th century.

"Super-storm Sandy" was also a record breaker in many aspects. One example would be a record storm surge of water into New York City. New York Harbor's surf also reached a record level when a buoy measured a 32.5-foot wave. That wave was 6.5 feet taller than a 25-foot wave churned up by Hurricane Irene in 2011. Many people, including scientist, now believe as far heat, droughts and storms, 2012 will be the "new normal"

Then there were even more records broken:

  • Foreign ownership of U.s Treasury securities rose to a record level in October, which can be a sign that overseas investors remain confident in the United States in spite of all of all the ugly debt problems.
  • The U, S. debt is increasing an average of 3.85 billion per day.
  • Student debt has stretched to a record number of U.S. house holds...nearly one in five! The average debt is the largest since the Institute for College Access and Success began compiling the figures in 2005, and it comes amid soaring college costs, record loan defaults, and a persistently difficult job market for college graduates.

So what does this all mean and what can we expect in this "new normal"? More records being broken in 2014? Also, more importantly, how will we react to a record amount of crisis and challenges? Will it tear us apart as a country, or bring us closer together? It is true that overall, Americans have had a great ability to come together against adversity. In a lot of ways, this proves the truth to the old saying..."what does not kill us make us stronger". Even so, it appears that Americans have also "allowed" themselves to become divided in their views to the point that some states may even be willing to leave the U. S.A.

One of the many examples I could state, is the major mixed views that people have on the cause of climate change. There are some that still believe that the changing weather patterns that are happening in this world are just a natural occurrence. That they have not been affected by the actions of men, in spite of the evidence that shows that pollution has had a drastic effect on our clement. To me it seems clear....How could the increase in pollution not have an effect on our planet in a negative way?

What do you feel is the worst crisis we face in the U.S. at this time?

We Reap what "We" Sow.

I believe strongly that everything that happens to us happens for a reason and every action has a reaction. Not only do we have a hand in creating some of the events that happen to us, we have a responsibility to resolve or change what we can with all the crises we face.

Of course I will not be able to go into great detail in every aspect of all the problems we face as a nation. This is just meant to be a overview of what is happening. To start, we will take a quick peak at global warming and what the evidence seems to suggest. To me, it seem amazing that there are still those who do not see how much our polluting of this planet has a effect on our clement. After all, we are the only type of animal that can consciously effect our environment in either positive or negative ways.

Global emissions of carbon dioxide were at a record high in 2011 and were likely to take a similar jump in 2012, scientists reported in early December 2012 — the latest indication that efforts to limit such emissions are failing.

Emissions continue to grow so rapidly that an international goal of limiting the ultimate warming of the planet to 3.6 degrees, established three years ago, is on the verge of becoming unattainable, said researchers affiliated with the Global Carbon Project, a network of scientists that tracks emissions.

One of the first things scientists learned is that there are several greenhouse gases responsible for warming, and humans emit them in a variety of ways. Most come from the combustion of fossil fuels in cars, factories and electricity production. The gas responsible for the most warming is carbon dioxide, also called CO2. Other contributors include methane released from landfills and agriculture (especially from the digestive systems of grazing animals), nitrous oxide from fertilizers, gases used for refrigeration and industrial processes, and the loss of forests that would otherwise store CO2.

Will The Next War Be A World War?

There has been many times that we have faced the potential for another world war. Infact, I can remember growing up during the time that was known as the "Cold War" when being prepared for a attack by the Soviet Union was drilled into us. We had regular drills at school so we would know what to do if we were attacked by "conventional" weapons. I also remember "hanging out" in friends bomb shelter.

Looking back on it now, it seems rather ironic that we are now face with the possibility of going to war with Russia. And what about China? Are there actions that we can take to event another world war? Personally I think not, and I feel a lot of what has happened to us a country is because we have turned or backs on God. However, I also believe that what is happening in the world right now is happening to fulfill Bible prophecy. What do you think?

What has gone wrong?

Will there be another world war?

Who will initiate World War three?

Could this really happen to us?
